Chandril faces Twin Brother Lakshit for Title

CLTA, Chandigarh, Thursday, November 22, 2012.                   Top seed Chandril Sood proved too good for qualifier Dhruv Goyal. Chandril won in straight sets 6-3, 6-0. 3^rd seed Lakshit Sood upset 2^nd seed Brahmjot Singh to face his brother in the finals. Brahmjot serving 5-4 in the 1^st set couldn’t close out the set. Later he lost 1^st set in tie break. Lakshit came strong in set, took an early break and won the set at 6-3.

In Women’s singles top seed Shweta Rana defeated 3^rd seed Sayali Bhilare comfortably 6-2, 6-2. 2^nd seed Manya Nagpal was too good for Vineeta Singh. She won semi-final without conceding a game.

Men’s doubles final was won by Lakshit Sood and Chandril Sood. They defeated Pardeep Deshwal and Rohit Sarwate 6-1, 6-2.  Women’s Doubles title went to Shweta Rana and Manya Nagpal with a straight set win over Renu Sharma and Victoria Chehal.

Men’s and Women’s Finals will be held at CLTA at 9:30 a.m.
