Rishabh clinches U-18 Title

CLTA, Chandigarh, June 10, 2016                                            In boys U-18 singles CLTA trainee Rishabh Sharda defeated Gurjot Singh. In the 1^st set Rishabh played consistently and used variations to make the opponent commit errors to close set 6-3. In the 2^nd set Rishabh was dominating from the 1^st game and lead by 4-0. After that Gurjot fought back and made it 2-4. Rishabh maintained his top form and closed the set and match 6-2.

In boys U-16 Dipin Wadhwa defeated Lokender Pun in straight sets 7-5, 6-0. In girls U-16 Sarah Dev defeated Kavya Sawhney 6-1, 6-4. In girls U-18 also Sarah Dev defeated Punyatoya Mohapatra in an easy match 6-1, 6-1.

Rishabh and Calvin doubles Champions

          In boys U-18 doubles top seed Rishabh Sharda and Clavin Golmei defeated Dipin Wadhwa and Gurjot Singh 6-4, 6-4. In boys U-16 doubles Yuvraj Kooka and Bhavesh of CLTA defeated their practice partners Bhupender Dahiya and Naresh Badgujar of CHART 6-2, 7-5. In girls U-18 doubles final Kavya Sawhney and Ashpreet defeated Punyatoya Mohapatra and Vriti Panwar 6-3, 6-0.

Sh. Rajan Kashyap, Patron-in-Chief, CLTA and Mrs. Bhupender Banta Singh, Member Executive distributed the prizes to the winners and runners-up.
