Krishan, Ajay move into Pre Quarters

CLTA, Chandigarh, February 7, 2017               In the boys singles 2^nd round 2^nd seed Krishan Hooda of CHART Haryana defeated Anirudh Krishna in straight sets. Krishan won 1^st set in a one sided match by conceding only one game 6-1. In the 2^nd set Krishan faced some resistance from the opponent but Krishan used his experience to close the set and match 6-4. In another match top seed Ajay Malik defeated Aditya Chopra in an easy match 6-1, 6-2. Udit Gogoi blanked Aditya Balda without conceding a game in straight sets 6-0, 6-0.

In the girls singles 2^nd round top seed Sandeepti Singh defeated Lakshanya Vishawanath in straight sets 6-3, 6-1. Aditi Narayan won from Amreen Sidhu in a one sided match 6-1, 6-2. Renee Singh and Sudipta Senthil won from their opponents Yana Dhamija and Nimrat Atwal 6-4, 6-3 and 6-3, 6-3 in straight sets respectively.

Singles pre quarters round matches will be played from 9:00 a.m. onwards at CLTA Tennis Stadium.
