Construction of Synthetic Tennis Courts at CLTA

Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association (CLTA), Chandigarh invites sealed quotations from reputed agencies having experience of constructing a minimum of 10 synthetic tennis courts per year during the last 3 years with a turnover of Rs. 1 crore per annum; for construction of synthetic tennis courts in CLTA Tennis Stadium Complex as below:-

 

–          Construction of two new synthetic courts on turnkey basis to replace two existing clay courts.

 

The bidders may send their sealed bids in three separate envelopes i.e. first containing Earnest Money amounting to Rs. 50,000/- by way of Bank draft in favour of “Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association”; second containing Technical Bid and third containing Financial Bid.

 

The bids not accompanying proper earnest money will be rejected straightaway without opening the other two envelopes. The Financial Bid shall be opened only if the Technical Bid, which shall contain authorization from the company in the case of a dealer / distributor of the above mentioned companies with proof of having executed such works during the last three years.

 

The work of construction of synthetic tennis courts should conform to International Tennis Federation (ITF) norms. The rates quoted shall indicate detailed specification and numbers of layers with material to be provided by the bidder.

 

Technical Specifications:-

 

• Bid shall remain open for 30 days.
• Advance will be not be more than 50% against Bank Guarantee.
• The time for completion of work is 30 days from the date of its allotment.
• Defect liability period shall be three years. The contractor shall give bank guarantee of 5% of the contract amount which shall stand forfeited if the contractor fails to remove the defect during this period and the defect removed at his risk and cost. The bank guarantee will be released after 3 years, if there is no defect in the work executed.

Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association (CLTA), Chandigarh invites sealed quotations from reputed companies / distributors of Dev Musco, Philips & Crompton Greaves for floodlighting  of twin Lawn Tennis Courts (9 & 10) and Court No. 7 & 8 in CLTA Tennis Stadium Complex on turnkey basis.

 

• Quotations should be separate for twin Courts 9 & 10 and 7 & 8.

 

The bidders may send their sealed bids in three separate envelopes i.e. first containing Earnest Money amounting to Rs. 30,000/- by way of Bank draft in favour of “Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association”; second containing Technical Bid and third containing Financial Bid.

The work of floodlighting of tennis courts shall be designed to i) achieve in excess of 525 lux which can be downgraded to 300 lux for twin Courts (9 &10) ii) 300 lux for Court No. 7 & 8 and iii)  floodlighting will include supply, installation, testing, commissioning of lighting luminaires, lamps, galvanized poles, electrical panels, cabling etc.

Sealed quotations are invited for purchase of one computerized gutting machine (imported) with following specifications: –

 

• Digital electronic stringing machines with keypad LED digital display

 

• Electronic pulling and monitoring device to eliminate any tension loss during pulling process

 

• suspension mounting system

 

• Micro-adjustable head and throat mounting posts

 

• individually adjustable-support arms (heavy-duty)

 

• Padded-shaped side supports

 

• Dual-action swivel clamps

In supersession of our Tender Notice for 1) Construction of two new synthetic courts on turnkey basis to replace two existing clay courts, 2) Floodlighting of four Courts and 3) Purchase of computerized gutting machine, put on the website of Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association on October 18th, 2012, some technical specifications have been modified. • Lighting level of twin courts shall be  designed to achieve in excess of 525 lux, with a uniformity of 0.5 and worked with a maintenance of 0.70 which can however be downgraded to 300 lux also, if & when required.

 

• The lighting fixtures proposed shall be the latest with IP65 degree of ingress protection.

 

• The Lighting poles shall be galvanized Lighting Poles proposed with MS fabricated monkey climb arrangement fabricated for ease of maintenance, and fabricated MS luminaire mounting head frame for the installation of the required number of lighting luminaires & gear for achieving the required lighting level.

 

• The other makes of material are as follows:-

 

• The Aluminium Armoured Cables: Havells / Ecko / Cirtina, or equivalent.
• Copper wires:  RRR / Finolex / Ecko / lapp, or equivalent.
• Electrical Switchgear: Schneider / ABB / Larsen & Toubro (L&T) / GE, or equivalent.
