Ajay Singh stuns Sarabjot

CLTA, Chandigarh, April 7, 2017                 Ajay Singh, a CHART trainee sponsored by Government of Haryana defeated Sarabjot Singh, another CHART trainee in the singles finals U-14 boys in straight sets. Ajay Singh was in total control in the 1^st set and took it 6-3. In the 2^nd set Sarabjot came back strongly and in the tie break Ajay overwhelmed him and took 1^st set and the match 7-6(1).

In another singles final U-14 girls Nimrat Atwal, a CLTA trainee beat Kuhoo Atray in straight sets 6-0, 6-3 giving only three games to Kuhoo. The girls final U-18 was again a one sided match Kavya Sawhney was in complete command of the game and made Harleen commit several unforced errors. She won the 1^st set 6-2 and in the 2^nd set she did not allow Harleen to take a single game and took the set  and the match 6-0.

Mr. Jai Singh Gill, President, CLTA gave away the prizes to the winners and runner ups of the singles matches today.
