Krishan and Ajay will clash in Singles Finals

CLTA, Chandigarh, February 10, 2017               In the boys singles semi finals 2^nd seed Krishan Hooda of CHART Haryana defeated Shushant Dabas in a three setter match. Krishan lost 1^st set 1-6. In the 2^nd set Krishan used his variation and broke the opponent’s rhythm to close the 2^nd set 6-3. In the final set Sushant was leading 4-2 after that Krishan came back strongly and took next four games in a row to close the final set and match 6-4. In the another semi final top seed Ajay Malik defeated Udit Gogoi 6-3, 6-1.

In the girls singles semi finals top seed Sandeepti Singh defeated Surajana Rayarala 6-2, 7-6(5). In another semi final Priyanshi Sankesh defeated Sudipta Senthil 6-1, 6-4.

In the boys doubles final top seed Ajay Malik and Sushant Dabas defeated 2^nd seed Krishan Hooda and Dhruv Tangri 6-3, 6-4.

In the girls doubles final Sandeepti Rao / Sudiptha Senthil won from Surajana Rayarala/Mushrat Anjum 6-1, 6-4.

Singles finals will be played tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. onwards at CLTA Tennis Stadium.
