Krishan Hooda and Sandeepti Singh lift RTW Singles Titles

CLTA, Chandigarh, February 11, 2017               In boys U-14 RTW CLTA-AITA National Series tournament Krishan Hooda a CHART trainee sponsored by the Government of Haryana upset top seed National Champion U-14 Ajay Malik in a three setter match. Krishan Hooda won the 1^st set 6-3. In the 2^nd set Ajay won in the tie break 7-6(5). In the final set Krishan broke Ajay’s serve in the 3^rd game and used his short angle backhand cross court shot to construct the point and finish with his backhand down the line shot. Finally Krishan took the 3^rd set and match 6-4.

In the girls singles final Sandeepti Singh dominated from the beginning and won the match from Priyanshi Sankesh in straight sets 6-3, 6-3.

Mr. Paul Hutchins Tournament Director of Road to Wimbledon alongwith Mr. Rajan Kashyap, Parton-in-Chief, CLTA and Mr. Jai Singh Gill, President, CLTA distributed the prizes.
