Lee & Minnen win Singles Titles

Chandigarh, 12 JAN 2013

14 year old Korean Duck Hee Lee played some high class ground strokes to defeat Tunsian S. Mansouri. Lee took the first set very comfortably 6-1 Then Then the Korean was leading 3-0 in the second set. When the Tunsian Mansouri raised his label of game to win next four games and take a lead in the second set, 4-3. After this Mansouri broke lee in the 12th game to take seccond set 7-5. In the final set Lee took an early brake and ragistered lead. Lee broke Mansouri serve in 8 the game to win the set, 6-2.

ITF Winners and Runners-up with CLTA Management

In the girls Singles fifth seed Minnen from bel upset top seed Kim Dubin from South Koria. Both the players display high class ground strokes. First set went into tie break Minnen won the first set 7-6. In the second set Minnen took a comfortable 5-2 lead. Top seed Kim use some variation to come back in the match. Minnen held her serve in the 10 th game to close out the match, 6-4.

A Prize Distribution Ceremony   was organized after today’s matches. Trophies were given to the winners and runner ups by Patron –in-Chief, Mr Rajan Kashyap & Jaisingh Gill President of CLTA.
